Our team consists of real estate development and investment professionals with over 50 years of combined experience. Since our inception we have managed over 800 million dollars in commercial real estate financing, space and land leasing, and development. Our lean organization and extensive knowledge and partnerships within the commercial real estate field is what has made our team successful investment partners.
Michael Wright is an attorney with over 30 years’ experience, specializing in commercial real estate investment. He established MMI Development to acquire, invest in, develop, and manage commercial real estate properties, either through land assemblage or purchasing existing income-producing properties, including multifamily, office and retail. His strategy has always been to buy, improve, operate, and sell.
Before founding MMI Development, Mr. Wright was a partner at Gray Robinson, P.A., Of Counsel at Smith Mackinnon, P.A., and an Associate at Akerman Senterfitt, P.A. and Senior Real Estate Counsel at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. During that time and in those positions, he handled well over two billion dollars in commercial real estate transactions focusing on complex finance transactions, land use and development, and title insurance claims and defense. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi and his undergraduate degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. Michael is also an Instrument Rated Private Pilot with 1,000+ hours.
Thomas Ciserano serves as MMI Development’s Executive Vice President and is actively engaged in all aspect of the company and related projects. He has an extensive career in commercial real estate; prior to joining MMI Development, he began his real estate career as a commercial real estate appraiser for Integra Realty Resources where he completed numerous appraisals and advisory projects throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
Mr. Ciserano has experience in the valuation and underwriting of over one billion dollars of real estate across all property types, including thousands of multifamily units, millions of square feet of commercial and office space, and thousands of acres of raw land. He received his undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Central Florida.
Mr. Browning was born in Jacksonville, Florida in 1962 and graduated from the University of Florida in 1986 with a B.S. in Business Administration.
At the age of 18, Mr. Browning received his real estate license and began his first career in the student housing business selling student condos. By age 22, Mr. Browning had racked up over $1 million dollars of real-estate sales.
Having come from a family of developers, entrepreneurs and a successful career in real-estate sales, Robbie decided to enter the development business and developed an ever-increasing series of multi-family, student housing, assisted living and self-storage facilities.
Robbie was the first developer to introduce the concept of student housing (i.e. 4 bedrooms/4 baths) at the University of Central Florida and built the second ever student housing facility in North Carolina.
Eagles Point Townhomes, Tallahassee, FL – 1991. This was the first community college in the US that built its own student housing facility by solely pledging the revenues from the student housing to repay the bonds. They issued tax free revenue bonds for the development. Tallahassee Community College was not required to financially support this project.
In early 2016, he decided to get back into the multi-family business and re-connected with Mike at MMI. Robbie and Mike met while developing the Valencia Lane Apartment community and jointly brought this property to fruition. They have been friends ever since.
Roberto Maximo serves as a project manager at MMI Development and is engaged in the planning and execution of MMI’s construction projects. Roberto’s prior experience includes over 7 years of commercial and residential renovations and maintenance. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Science in Real Estate from the University of Central Florida.
Bonnie’s passion for working with growing companies began in the real estate and construction industry where she has held diversified positions in finance and executive management, with multinational homebuilders. From preparing robust financial statements to cash flow modeling and performance analysis, Bonnie’s vast experience lends itself to resolving complex accounting issues and ensuring proper controls are established, for companies experiencing fast growth. Her experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance adds true peace of mind for her clients, while delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and proactive treasury management support. Bonnie earned both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Accounting, right here in the city beautiful, on the campuses of the University of Central Florida. Bonnie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an active member of the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) where ongoing education and best practices keep her current in her field. In her free time, Bonnie volunteers as a mentor and educator with a local preschool program, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Stacy Williams serves as Special Projects Manager for MMI Development generating growth and advancement through a variety of evolving projects. She joined MMI Development with over 10 years of experience in management and leadership spanning industries including: Aerospace with Northrop Grumman Corporation, Hospitality with Hilton Hotels Corporation, and Consulting with S&S Logic Inc. She is an excellent problem solver and has a reputation for bottom-line orientation and high quality. She earned her Masters of Business Administration, as well as her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, from the University of Alabama, Huntsville. She also holds an Associates of Arts in Management Studies from the University of Maryland, European Division.
